JDO Studio is currently contributing to the design of a large-scale waterfront master plan in Doha, Qatar. The project explores the relationship between hospitality, residential communities and public space, seeking to create a district where architecture, landscape and the waterfront become part of a single urban experience.
Developed alongside an international team of architects, planners and consultants, the project demands a careful balance between long-term urban strategy and the architectural quality of individual buildings. Working across disciplines and cultures continues to shape the studio’s approach to design at multiple scales.
Still in development, the master plan reflects JDO Studio’s growing involvement in complex international projects. As the design evolves, it continues to explore how thoughtful planning, strong architectural ideas and carefully crafted public spaces can contribute to places that remain relevant for decades.
